Mazda MX-30 refresh for 2025 – From now on only as a plug-in hybrid
Mazda is giving its MX-30 plug-in hybrid a small model update for 2025: a larger display, new equipment line and more are supposed to improve the crossover. The electric model will be discontinued from 2025.
From spring 2025, the Mazda MX-30 e-Skyactiv R-EV will be available in a slightly improved version at German dealerships. The plug-in hybrid crossover will get a small facelift for 2025 and discontinue the electric version.
New display and better infotainment
Mazda has chosen the interior for the 2025 Mazda MX-30 e-Skyactiv R-EV above all to improve. For example, the newer models now have a 10.25-inch central display for operating the infotainment.
There are also improvements to the systems themselves, for example, the navigation system now includes a search for points of interest and charging planning, as long as the vehicle is connected to your own mobile phone via the MyMazda app. The wireless linking of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is now also possible.
More style and a new equipment line
For the look of the MX-30 plug-in hybrid in 2025, the Japanese manufacturer has also revised the paintwork and interior colors. For example, the colors in the interior are to be darker in the future and the materials of some equipment lines have been upgraded or the color schemes have been changed. For 2025, Mazda will also introduce a new equipment line: Nagisa. This is supposed to cover another level between the Makoto and the Makoto Plus equipment and is characterized by a terracotta-colored interior, special paint finishes and a Bose sound system, among other things.
Elimination of the pure e-car
In the course of the model update, however, the all-electric variant of the MX-30 will also be dropped. The MX-30 e-Skyactiv EV is no longer available and will not be replaced. The MX-30 will then only be available as a plug-in hybrid. In terms of price, the MX-30 e-Skyactiv R-EV 2025 variants now ranges in a price range of 35,990 (Prime Line) to 43,420 (Makoto Plus) Euro list price.
